何もしなかった自分と、ちょっとだけチャレンジした自分、3年後には全く違う場所に・・・。

うわ〜！　焦る〜！💦

私、他の人より遅いかも〜！

これは私が
カルトナージュを習いに行った時のお話です。

 

バリアフリーアクセサリー
ユアミューズのてらさきかおるです。

 

多分人より器用だし、その頃すでに
ビーズやレジンの講師もしていたので

ハンドメイドにはかなり自信があったのですが、

厚紙にのりで布をぴっちり貼る事の

その「ぴっちり」にこだわりすぎて、
結構時間がかかってしまったのです。

そんな時ふと周りを見ると
みんなその行程が終わっていて

先生も次を待っている状態・・・（汗）

申し訳なり気持ちと、早く追いつかなくちゃ！
という焦りで

その日はなんだか落ち着かず、
楽しみに行ったはずが

実は心から楽しめていなかったのです。

あなたもこんな経験ないですか？

別に誰かと競争するわけじゃないのに
勝手に焦ってしまう事。

体の状態は人それぞれ違うし、同じ作品を作るのに
かかる時間も違うので

今思えば先生も他の人も
私のことなんて
あまり気にしていなかったのかもしれませんが。

でも、この経験は私がアクセサリー講師を
続けていく上でとっても役立っています。

 

そんな私が教室で大切にしていることは、

比べる相手は「他の誰か」とではなく

「昨日のあなた」と「今日のあなた」だということ。

「昨日までアクセサリーを作ろうなんて
思いもしなかったのに

今日の私ったら、電車に乗って初めての場所にアクセサリーを作りに
一人で来ちゃった！」

もうこれだけでも大進歩だと思いませんか！

あなたはこの日、
ちょっとだけ舵を切ったのです。

 

 

その角度は
分度器で測ったらたった１度くらいかもしれませんが

あの時、何も行動しなかった自分と
あの時、ちょっとだけチャレンジした自分。

 

その差は

ちょっとづつ広がっていき、

１年後、

３年後、

10年後には

あなたはあの時とは全く違った場所に
いるかもしれないんですよ。

 

 

そして
そのチャンスが目の前にあっても

それをとりあえず掴んでみる人と、

色々な理由を探して
結局いつもと同じ場所にいる人。

 

そうは言っても

「それが自分にとって
チャンスかどうかわからないもん。」

 

 

でもね、

そういう人のために

それが自分にとって本当に必要なのか

そうじゃないのかを
判断する方法があるんですよ。

それ、知りたいですか

・・・・・・？

答えは、

その情報を見た時に

なんだかそわそわしたり、

どうしよう、どうしようと

そのことがずっと頭を離れなかったり

あなたにとって本当に必要なものを
見た時って

そんな感覚があります。

 

反対に、すぐに忘れてしまったり
全く気にならない時は、
違うみたいですよ。

 

 

実は私も15年前に同じような経験をして
今があります。
